Community identity and success
Building an identity for Cornwall that we can all be proud of - and thrive in.
Candidate for Cornwall City Council
I’m running for council because I believe local government should be transparent, practical, and focused on helping people build stable, connected lives in the community they call home.
Municipal Election — October 2026
I care deeply about Cornwall and the people who live here. Like many residents, I’ve seen both the strengths of our community and the challenges we face — rising costs, aging infrastructure, difficulty retaining young families, and a growing feeling that many people are being left behind or unheard.
I believe municipal government has an important role to play in improving everyday life. Local decisions affect housing, transit, recreation, public spaces, infrastructure, and how connected people feel to their community. Good local government may not solve every problem, but it can create stability, trust, and momentum.
For the past decade, I’ve worked in leadership roles focused on supporting people, building strong teams, solving problems collaboratively, and creating systems that work better for everyone involved. I want to bring that same approach to public service: listening carefully, communicating clearly, and focusing on practical improvements that help Cornwall thrive over the long term.
I’m running because I believe Cornwall can be a more affordable, connected, transparent, and hopeful place to live — and because I believe local government works best when residents feel informed, respected, and included in the process.
