My approach to municipal government in Cornwall is grounded in practical improvements, transparent communication, and long-term community building.

Community identity and success

Cornwall is missing a sense of self - and that makes it harder to succeed here. We can change that.

We'll get there by

  • Bringing the city together to define the Cornwall of the future
  • Reinventing our city with a new slogan and signage
  • Building community with our neighbours to advertise and bring them in on our new identity

My Vision for Cornwall means that

Cornwall residents are proud to live in Cornwall, knowing that living here has helped them live the lives they want to live.

Housing & Affordability

Cornwall needs more dense housing and strong support for everyone living across the city.

We'll get there by

  • Revising our zoning laws to encourage dense housing
  • Reducing property tax rates for rental units rented below market levels
  • Investing in and building local grocery options

My Vision for Cornwall means that

Cornwall is a comfortable and welcoming home for all of its citizens, and everyone who lives here can afford to thrive.

Transparency in decision-making

What is our city council doing? Why did they decide that way? We need it to be easy to find these answers.

We'll get there by

  • Making regular posts here and across social media on council decisions
  • Improving the Cornwall city website to make seeing council actions easier
  • Create a requirement for ongoing transparent communications as a part of regular council activities

Cornwall residents know what their council is doing, why they do it, and how to make change in the city.

Connecting Cornwall, inside and out

We are perfectly positioned to be a hub between major cities, providing access both physically and digitally. We are equally positioned to build an incredibly strong community throughout our city.

We'll get there by

  • Building an accessible collection of online and in-person social activities for all Cornwallites
  • Incentivizing logistics companies to bring infrastructure and jobs to Cornwall
  • Championing Cornwall as a remote work hub, bringing a diverse economic boon to the city
